About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Territory Manager to drive sales growth across Western Victoria.

Reporting to the Sales Manager – VIC/TAS, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with distributors, retailers and end users throughout the territory. You'll work closely with customers to identify opportunities, deliver product training, support wear trials and strengthen Steel Blue's position as the leading safety footwear brand in the market.

This is a highly autonomous field-based role that will suit someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities and being out with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve sales and growth objectives

  • Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers and end users across Western Victoria

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within key industry sectors

  • Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations and wear trials

  • Deliver product and sales training to distributor partners

  • Support major customer proposals and contract opportunities

  • Collaborate with Marketing to maximise promotional activity and brand presence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs

  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline management through HubSpot

  • Represent Steel Blue professionally and promote a strong company profile throughout the territory

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven success in a Territory Manager, Business Development or Account Management role

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

  • Experience working within a sales-driven environment and achieving targets

  • A proactive approach to identifying and converting opportunities

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Experience using CRM systems

  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout Western Victoria

Previous experience within PPE, safety products, industrial products, construction, manufacturing or a related industry will be highly regarded.
