Maintenance Manager
Titeline Drilling is a modern exploration drilling company with operations throughout Australia and around the globe.  Within the Titeline Group, we value our employees and regard them as part of the team and our company success. We are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Manager for Projects based mainly in Victoria.

Job Description

 - Workshop based. 

 - Some Field Work will be required

 - Large modern fleet of trucks and drill rigs

As Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for maintenance of latest model drill rigs and support equipment, in a safe and operable manner. Our fleet comprises of a range of equipment including UDR/KWL drill rigs, MAN trucks and Toyota light vehicles.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical staff (mechanical and electrical) to deliver excellent service.

  • Review and analyse maintenance reports, providing feedback to General Managers and Operation Managers.

  • Overhaul rigs and associated equipment, maintaining detailed listings of completed overhauls. Sandvick, UDR, Boart Longyear, EDM experience highly valued. 

  • Deliver plans for upcoming or overdue overhauls, explaining the reasons.

  • Maintain a list of spare assets ready for deployment.

  • Keep in constant contact with suppliers.

  • Conduct regular visits to field sites.

  • Review technical and operational problems, dispatching alerts and bulletins related to equipment.

  • Ensure the implementation of maintenance programs, adhering to safe work practices.

  • Improve maintenance processes for reliability and efficiency.

  • Monitor compliance with maintenance division standards.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the base.

  • Plan activities for maintenance execution, improving efficiency and productivity.

  • Convert operational activity plans into maintenance resource plans, including headcount and competency.

  • Develop and build the competency of maintenance team employees, tracking their progress.

  • Promote and lead by example in all statutory, client, and safety requirements.

  • Ensure adherence to event investigation processes, providing resources as required.

  • Communicate with vendors and manufacturers to maintain good relationships, ensuring quality service at optimal cost-effectiveness.

  • Provide feedback to General Managers and Operation Managers related to monthly maintenance reports.

  • Support annual budget development, ensuring rigs have the necessary equipment to perform activities.

What we need from you:

Trade Qualified Professional.

Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role.

Must be safety focused.

Must produce a clear drug and alcohol screen.

Strong leadership and team management skills

Familiarity with maintenance software and tools

Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
