Hybrid work option (work from home up to two days per week), with the location of office-based work being the Haymes Paint Head Office in Ballarat. Travel and attendance as required to our Abbotsford office location and throughout our national network.

About the Role

As a People and Culture Advisor at Haymes Paint, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our employee experience. You’ll advise on People and Culture policies, drive projects including the implementation of learning and development initiatives and support leaders to embed people practices that align with our strategic goals.

What You’ll Do

• Provide expert guidance on employee relations and case management
• Design and deliver engaging L&D programs using various modes of delivery
• Work within frameworks for recruitment, performance and career planning
• Analyse People and Culture data to generate insights that drive engagement and performance
• Build strong internal relationships and support policy implementation

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role
• Strong communication, analytical, and coaching skills
• Ability to manage complexity and drive accountability
• Passion for people, culture, and continuous improvement
