About the role

We are seeking a talented and qualified Remedial Massage/Myotherapist to join our team at Why Knot Massage in Ballarat, Victoria. This role offers the flexibility around your own schedule and work in a supportive, client-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

• Provide exceptional remedial massage and myotherapy treatments to our diverse client base

• Assess clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans to address their concerns

• Utilise a range of massage techniques, including deep tissue, sports massage, and trigger point therapy, cupping, pregnancy massage and dry needle therapy

• Educate clients on self-care strategies and provide aftercare advice

• Maintain detailed client records and ensure all treatments are documented thoroughly

• Contribute to the overall success and growth of the clinic

What we're looking for

• Remedial Massage, Myotherapy or equivalent recognised Australian qualification

• Minimum Diploma level qualification in Remedial Massage, Myotherapy or equivalent recognised field

• Experience working as a Remedial Massage/Myotherapist is preferred but not essential as their are multiple positions available

• Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and pathology

• Proficient in a range of techniques, including deep tissue, sports massage and trigger point therapy. Cupping, Dry needle therapy, Lymphatic drainage massage and pregnancy massage experience is preferred but not essential

• Essential competency in deep tissue massage techniques

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients

• Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Current registration with the Australian Private Health Fund or ability to be

• WWCC must be obtained after hiring if not currently held
