Creswick Dental Centre is a small, established private dental practice in Creswick. We’re looking for a reliable Dental Assistant - or the right trainee - to join our team.

This role would suit someone who wants steady, hands-on work in a healthcare setting, enjoys helping people, and can work in an organised way.

We are open to both:

• an experienced Dental Assistant who can step into chairside and steri duties, or

• a developing / trainee assistant who is local, reliable, quick to learn, and genuinely interested in dentistry long-term.

About the role

This is mainly a chairside dental assisting role, with some reception support when needed.

You’ll be involved in:

• chairside assisting during dental procedures

• sterilisation / instrument processing and infection control

• treatment room set-up and turnover

• supporting patients before, during and after appointments

• helping the day run smoothly

• occasional phone / booking / reception support when required

You don’t need to be perfect on day one, but you do need to be practical, reliable and willing to learn.

Dental experience is valued. A Certificate III in Dental Assisting is also valued.

However, we will consider a strong trainee if you have the right attitude, are reliable and are willing to learn the role properly.

Hours

Full-time or part-time may be considered for the right person.
