Contract Administrator / Project Support Coordinator

JE Mech Technologies is looking for a highly organised, proactive and confident Contract Administrator / Project Support Coordinator to join our team.

This role is central to the day-to-day operation of our business. A large amount of project, maintenance, tendering, travel and administration coordination flows through this position, so we need someone with strong communication skills, a professional and outgoing manner, and the resilience to stay composed in a fast-moving construction environment. Our Director, Project Managers and site teams rely heavily on this role to keep things organised, followed up and moving.

About the Role

This is a varied role covering contract administration, project support, tender administration, maintenance coordination, document control, finance assistance and general business support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with end-of-month project claims

  • Managing document control and project administration

  • Supporting Project Managers and site teams with day-to-day coordination

  • Preparing tender documents and following up subcontractor and supplier pricing

  • Coordinating accommodation, travel and flights for staff working away

  • Assisting with Director travel bookings and general executive support

  • Coordinating DLP and general maintenance works

  • Organising contractors, ordering filters and following up maintenance requirements

  • Assisting with OH&S, training records, uniforms and office supplies

  • Supporting accounts and finance administration when required

Due to the level of trust involved in the position, police and reference checks may be required.

About You

  • Comfortable dealing with Directors, Project Managers, trades, subcontractors and suppliers

  • Reliable, positive and team-focused

Experience in construction, mechanical services, project administration, contract administration or maintenance coordination would be highly regarded.
